- The US company is also offering a set of forged magnesium wheels for the 911 Turbo S.
- Both the carbon fiber front splitter and rear wing start at an eye-popping $18,752.
- These parts are said to be 20-30% stronger than traditional carbon fiber.
Gunther Werks has made a name for itself building the planet’s finest Porsche 993-based restomods, but it’s now spreading its wings and launched an upgrade package for the 992.1 generation 911 Turbo S. As perhaps the ultimate sleeper in the Porsche range, the 911 Turbo S is the perfect candidate for some eye-catching design and aerodynamic upgrades.

This new package has been launched through Gunther’s new GW9 brand and created in partnership with Vorsteiner. It consists of an eight-piece carbon fiber kit that not only boosts downforce but also looks pretty cool. If Porsche’s GT division were ever to launch an upgraded version of the 911 Turbo S, it may look a little like this.

The upgrades start at the front end, where Gunther Werks has developed a slew of new carbon fiber parts, starting with a large front splitter with small aero winglets and fins. There are also new carbon fiber parts surrounding the air intakes. Complementing the sporty new front are extended carbon fiber side skirts and shrouds around the side air intakes. Apparently, these actually increase airflow into the intake, so they don’t just look nice.
Found at the rear is a new diffuser and a fixed rear wing, two important parts that are said to boost downforce.
Gunther Werks says that the carbon fiber it uses is 20-30% stronger than traditional carbon, and all parts use the OEM mounting points. The aero parts can be joined by a set of forged magnesium 20-inch and 21-inch wheels that cost an eye-popping $25,920. However, those wheels make some of the carbon aero parts seem cheap.
The complete front splitter with the winglets starts at $18,752 with a gloss carbon finish or $20,628 with a satin carbon finish. The front air intake trim starts at $6,246, the side skirts start at $9,373, and the side air intake trims are available from $6,246. The rear wing is just as expensive as the front splitter, priced from $18,762.
