• Brabus Island is a new luxury real estate project set to rise in Abu Dhabi.
  • It will feature 450 luxury homes, including high-rise apartments and villas.
  • Prices range from $790k to $7.3 million, with first handovers set for early 2028.

Brabus is practically a household name in the world of luxury vehicle upgrades, turning Mercedes, AMG, and Smart models into absurdly powerful machines, not to mention offering customized boats, motorcycles, and even motorhomes. But, it turns out, that’s not enough for the German brand. Now, Brabus is dipping its toes into the high-stakes world of luxury real estate, launching its own private island in the Middle East.

Located in the Al Seef District of Abu Dhabi, this island offers more than just sand and sun. It’s close to the city center and international airport, with Dubai just an hour away. Spanning 100,000 square meters (around 1.08 million square feet), the island is a tad larger than the infamous Alcatraz in California. No word yet on whether the island comes with its own prison cell block for anyone who gets too excited about the concept.

A Lavish Island for the Ultra-Rich

When completed, Brabus Island will feature no less than 450 luxury homes, including 350 apartments spread across four high-rise towers and 100 bespoke villas. The apartments come with two, three, or four bedrooms, ranging from 107 to 456 square meters (1,152 to 4,908 square feet). The villas? Well, they’re even more opulent, with some offering private pools and direct beach access.

Each home is customizable, letting owners choose from various design themes inspired by the interiors of Brabus Masterpiece vehicles. These options include Black and Bold, White Bliss, and Gray Haven, each in line with the company’s signature aesthetic. If you’ve ever thought that your home should scream “I drive a ridiculously tuned car,” this is your chance.

Expect a Full “Brabusized” Lifestyle

According to the tuner-turned-real-estate moguls, the island is for those who don’t just want to drive a Brabus vehicle, but want to live the full “Brabusized” lifestyle, whatever that means. The project is a collaboration with Cosmo, a subsidiary of UAE-based developer Reportage Properties.

Construction is set to begin this summer, with the first handovers of villas and apartments expected in early 2028. If you’re thinking of buying in, prices start at €700,000 ($790,400) for an apartment, while a beach villa could set you back a cool €6.5 million ($7.34 million).

Now, it’s safe to assume that anyone shelling out for property on Brabus Island will also own at least one Brabus-modified vehicle. Hopefully, the island’s designers have planned for the parking situation, because trying to squeeze a Mercedes-AMG G63 6×6 into the central roundabout might just lead to a traffic jam of epic proportions. As for Brabus boats, those will have a dedicated marina to avoid any maritime chaos.

Constantin Buschmann, CEO of Brabus, said: “Brabus Island is both an incredible milestone and an evolution that makes sense. For nearly five decades, Brabus has built products that move people – emotionally, viscerally, physically. But this is different. Now, for the first time, we’re not just designing vehicles for a lifestyle – we’re designing the lifestyle itself. Brabus Island is an exciting and very significant design opportunity, and Abu Dhabi is exactly the right place for it.”
