- Maserati has introduced a new entry-level version of the Grecale SUV.
- Simply known as the Grecale, it features 21-inch wheels and up to 325 hp.
- Customers will also find new colors and two new upholstery options.
The Maserati Grecale is approaching middle age and that means the company is trying to keep things fresh. As part of this effort, the Italian brand has announced a series of changes to the lineup.

The big news is the introduction of a new entry-level Grecale trim, positioned below the Modena and Trofeo. It seems to replace the previous GT variant, which started at $69,900 in the United States. Pricing for the new base model hasn’t been announced yet.

Maserati didn’t have much else to say about the crossover, but confirmed it has 20-inch diamond-cut wheels as well as a premium leather interior with 12-way heated front seats.
In most markets, the base Grecale will be powered by a mild hybrid 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 296 hp (221 kW / 300 PS). However, in North America and South Korea, it’s rated at 325 hp (243 kW / 330 PS).
Moving up the trim ladder is the Grecale Modena, which features the 325 hp (243 kW / 330 PS) engine as well as larger 21-inch wheels. Buyers will also find an adaptive suspension, a limited-slip differential, and Matrix headlights.

Customers can also opt for the Trofeo, which features a 523 hp (390 kW / 530 PS) Nettuno V6. There’s also the Folgore variant, which has a 105 kWh battery pack and a dual motor all-wheel drive system developing 550 hp (410 kW / 557 PS).
Besides some minor trim tweaks, the Grecale features an expanded color palette that now includes 11 hues. More choices are available through the Maserati Fuoriserie Programme, which itself gains several new options including Blu Pastello, Giallo Genio Gloss, Dark Aurora Boreale, and Gold Venus.

Interior changes are likewise minor, but Maserati mentioned a couple of new upholstery options including Chocolate leather and Sport Leader Black Blue. Customers can also expect to find familiar 12.3- and 8.8-inch displays.
